PCC- Lahore Council congratulates Inderias Dominic Bhatti on successful video for 'Democracy Video Challenge'

In his sharing this on democracy Mr. Inderias Bhatti, President of PCC-Lahore Council, concluded saying, “Though being noble value in its basis it (democracy) will continue with more off shoots until or unless it accepts, understands and listens others with passion and inclusive consciousness that always seeks to do good to help and heal; never to hurt or destroy.

And thus to come up with a psyche and attitudes of keeping the individual liberties in collaborative relations with collective and public good as its ultimate value”.

The Video Challenge details are that the U.S. Department of State and its partners, including leading democracy and youth organizations, the film/entertainment industry, and academia, will launch the second annual Democracy Video Challenge online and at the UN on International Democracy Day.

The goal for the second annual Democracy Video Challenge is to broaden public participation, enhance the online dialogue among the Democracy Video Challenge Community as well as to engage partners and the winners in democracy, youth and film related events.

The Democracy Video Challenge, a public-private partnership, engages in an online discussion on democracy through the creation of short videos completing the phrase, “Democracy Is…..” and through social networking tools such as Facebook and twitter. The U.S. Department of State and its partners, including leading democracy and youth organizations, the film/entertainment industry, and academia, will launch the second annual Democracy Video Challenge online and at the UN on International Democracy Day.
