Bible Animators Training Sessions in Karachi
Karachi, Pakistan: January 06, 2010, (PCTV Newsdesk)With the background of 55 Propositions of 12th Ordinary Bishop synod held on 5-26 October 2008, Rome on the theme of Word of God in the Life and mission of the Church. Catholic Bible Commission Pakistan (CBCP) is organizing four days training Sessions for Bible animators on 28-31 January 2010 at Franciscan Friary Karachi. Participants will be from the Archdiocese of Karachi, Diocese of Hyderabad and prefecture of Quetta. Expected participants will be from each 10-12.
The solemn opening will take place on Thursday 28th. January 2010 with the Eucharistic celebrations presided over by Archbishop Evarist Pinto Archbishop of Karachi and Chairperson Catholic Bible Commission Pakistan. Fr. Emmanuel Asi Executive Secretary Catholic Bible Commission Pakistan will speak the background and objective of these Sessions. The objective of this program is to train ministers of the Word of God on the Parish, region and Diocese level. These sessions will serve as to re-energizing the Biblical Apostolate in our communities and country.
Bible Animators Training will be conducted on three phases: first phase will be on the theme of Introduction of Holy Bible, second phase on Study of Holy Bible and third on Biblical Apostolate
The solemn closing will be on Sunday 31st. January 2010 with the Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Anjou Soares Diocesan Delegate of Catholic Bible Commission Pakistan.
