Holy Family Church - Peaceful Rally to condemn heinous incident of Gojra

Holy Family Church, Rawalpindi organized a peaceful rally on 30th August 2009 form Holy Church  to main Choke to express solidarity with community of Gujra and condemn gory incident of Gujra.Fr.Anwar Patras led the rally More than 500 people participated in the Rally. They were holding banners, chanting slogan and demanding the government to arrest and punish culprits and uncover those who are behind this brutal act of terrorism, stop killing people in the name of religion, repeal all the discriminatory laws , eliminate religious extremism  and protect all citizen.

Christian’s community will continue to protest unless the culprits are arrest and punished, said Fr. Anwer Patras while addressing the rally. He further said that we will sit in front of Parliament to protest and demand our government to repeal all the discriminatory laws, dividing our society on the basis of religion and fueling religious extremis in the country.
