"The nations will walk in its light" (Rev 21:24). The goal of the Church's mission is to illumine all peoples with the light of the Gospel as they journey through history towards God, so that in Him they may reach their full potential and fulfilment. We should have a longing and a passion to illumine all peoples with the light of Christ that shines on the face of the Church, so that all may be gathered into the one human family, under God's loving fatherhood.

Today Is Only One Day From Being The Past... (Sandy Clay )
People and situations from our past just seem to have a way of coming up again and again. Ask yourself why? Is it Love? Hatred? Happiness? Sadness? pain? Why? Sometimes, pondering the past can be a good thing, it is always said that hindsight is 20/20, and it truly is. You just can't dwell in it. Look at it, learn from it, let it go, and look forward. If God can forgive you the past, why can't you? You really should just move on with this realization: Your life does not need to be this way. If you trust in God, to lead you forward, you will never have to look behind you again.

Christian Discipleship - Expecting your Disciple to Read the Bible for Himself (Paul Schlieker)
The DNA of divine truth comes from heaven. It comes from the Spirit of God through the Word of God. The Bible is unlike all other books. It is inspired by God (II Timothy 3:16). That puts it in a category by itself. A.W. Tozer writes, “The knowledge of God is by the direct impression of the Spirit of God upon the spirit of man.” A “direct impression” begins when we read the Word of God. Just as God once spoke directly to Moses from within the burning bush (Exodus 3:4), God continues to speak directly to us from within the Bible. We should approach the Bible as a Voice from heaven, not a user’s manual. It’s not a book that was once written – it’s a Voice that is speaking here and now.

Making Christian Disciples Requires Practice -- How People Learn to be Like Jesus by Paul Schlieker (Paul Schlieker)
Disciple-making requires practice. People learn by doing. No one becomes like Jesus be merely thinking about him. In August 2008, Nebraska football player Philip Dillard was quoted in the Omaha World Herald on what Bo Pelini and the other defensive coaches at Nebraska were expecting. "They're not really trying to correct stuff from last year; they're just coaching their defense. They tell you what you're supposed to do and you're supposed to do it."

The Divine Love Forgiveness (Wilfred Tunyira)
Are you born-again? If so, thank God for his Divine Forgiving Love. I remember that many years ago I lived and thrived on ungodliness. The devil unpacked all kinds of devil into my soul and made me almost into a lunatic. Even though I went to church regularly on all Sundays my ears didn't hear, my eyes was scaled and my heart was corrupt. I did everything that the devil prompted me to do, I was always at his service; a slave of sin. I remember again how my strength dissipated each time I tried to live right; the devil made me so. He distant me from God and held me strong in his hands so I wouldn't find the Divine Forgiveness of Jesus. He sowed a seed into my soul that read: YOU CAN ATTAIN PERFECTION THROUGH SELF-DISCIPLINE. O how I held on to these deceitful words and worked uselessly to attain self-perfection of love, peace, joy, and fulfillment. My actions affected so many, I am sorry to say.

Women in the Teaching of John Paul II (Sister Unnata S.I.C.)
The question of the dignity and the vocation of women is one of the most widely discussed issues in the present era. The church's Magisterial, especially Pope John Paul II, has also shown keen interest in this subjects. It is the duty of the church to give proper orientation to new theological discussions coming up as a result of the social changes. The dignity and vocation of women is one such subject about which the church has her own stand. Surely the church hopes that "the hour is coming, in fact has come, when the vocation of women is being acknowledged in its fullness, the hour in which women acquire in the world an influence and effect and a power never hitherto achieved." Just before Vatican II and after, the church has been showing keen interest in this issue. The effective promotion of the responsibility of women has been one among the maker concerns of the church.

Ecclesia in Asia (Mr Liaquat George)
The churches in Asia are reminded of their responsibilities as evangelizers. The church's evangelizing mission is deeply affected by the impact of the mass media, new information technology and these needs to be used for the proclamation of the Gospel. The mass media is an effective means of spreading the church's teaching among other faiths. It also communicates among the masses of Asia the Christian response to the challenge of the modern world and the eagerness of the church to work with people of good will for the common good.
